Whittlesey Engineering Company Ltd is a family run business based in the heart of the Fenland Industrial Area.
The company opened its doors in July 1970, as the dream of Leslie Greenaway Widgery. Les was soon joined by his son-in-law, John Carter, with John taking over the helm following the sad loss of Les in 1996.
John continued to run the business, taking it from strength to strength, with the support of a great team of staff, the majority of who have worked with him for over 20 years. John's daughter Charlotte Garner took over as Managing Director in 2019.
As Precision Production Engineers, we work with a wide range of clients, providing large scale, medium quantity items to small precision, one off specialist components, including prototype test parts. We are able to refurbish and repair parts, as well as manufacture new components from patterns, sketches and engineering drawings, alongside adapting parts to meet our clients needs.
We work with clients from a variety of industries including: food and packaging, agriculture, leisure, building and construction, motorsport, energy, ....to name a few.
